| These special purpose tractor tyres have been launched in India for the first time and are built for excellent traction in rice and wet field farming. The tyres will be launched phased wise in four states of India- Punjab, Haryana, UP and West Bengal. The key problem for paddy farmers in India is slippage of tyre while doing the puddling, which results into more fuel & time consumption. Aayushmaan R2 tyre has a deep Non skid depth (NSD) of 66 mm while normal tyres have NSD of 38 mm. This offers deeper groove giving better grip in soil with mud and allows the puddling of soil without slippage of tyre saving a lot of time and money for the farmers.According to -----------------------CEAT Ltd, “India is the third largest tractor market after USA & Europe. UP, Bihar, Orissa, North East, South India and Bengal together have 95 million acres of land under Paddy cultivation. This translates into a huge potential for Rice Tractor Tyre in Indian market.”He further added,” The R2 tyres will solve the problems of the slippage of tyres .Due to less slippage, it may lead to less fuel consumption”.Advantages of the CEAT R2 tyre: Deep NSD 66 mm – to ensure better grip in soil with mud No slippage of tyre while doing the puddling Reduces fuel consumption as compared to R1 tyre Eliminates the need to use cage wheelsAbout CEAT Ltd.:CEAT Ltd., the flagship company of RPG Enterprises, was established in 1958.
